Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, typically occurring between February 3 and March 9 and is the final day of Shrovetide, which marks the end of the Pre-Lenten season. Traditionally, it is the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before embarking on the Lenten fast, and pancakes are the perfect way to use your ingredients.
