On All Souls' Day, Monday 2 November, there will be a celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 6pm in the Cathedral, as we remember before God those we have loved who have passed away.
Families and individuals come together in a quiet and contemplative atmosphere, lighting candles and praying for those they have lost. With scripture and hymns, and time kept in silence, we acknowledge the loss so many carry and offer comfort in faith.
The names of loved ones will be read aloud during the Eucharist. If you would like a name included, please add it to the list at the back of the Cathedral.
All are welcome to this service of hope and remembrance, as we hold the souls of the departed in our prayers and entrust them to God's eternal care.
